Steps to make Strawberry Blessing
- 1. I prepared all the materials for making the skin, and in fact, I also prepared 30 grams of hand powder. Later, I found that it was completely unnecessary because the glutinous rice skin made from this recipe is not sticky to the hands.
- 2.50g of granulated sugar is melted in 40g of hot water, and stirred evenly. Don't be afraid of too much sugar. The amount of prescription is large, and there are also many glutinous rice flour. The skin made by this ratio is just sweet.
- 3. Continue to add milk and stir evenly. The amount of milk is exactly one small box, pour it all in without heating.
- 4. Then sift in 200g glutinous rice flour and 60g corn flour. Corn starch can be used without corn flour.
- 5. Use a manual mixer to stir evenly without any particles.
- 6. After stirring, sieve again.
- 7. Screen out small particles so that the resulting skin is delicate.
- 8. After letting it sit for ten minutes, put it in a steamer and cover it with a lid or plastic wrap to prevent water vapor from falling in (remember to make a few breathable holes if covering with plastic wrap). Put cold water into the pot and steam for 30 minutes after boiling. If the amount is reduced, the time can be shortened appropriately.
- 9. Cool the steamed Glutinous rice cakes and add butter to knead it evenly. This step is a bit laborious and patient. You should wait until the Glutinous rice cakes is warm and not hot. You'd better wear disposable gloves, otherwise it is difficult to wash your hands with butter. Rub it evenly, cover it with cling film, and place it in the freezer for half an hour to cool down. Then, transfer it to a clean container so that it won't stick to your hands when taken out.
- 10. Wrap the strawberries with bean paste in half an hour. When steaming Glutinous rice cakes, wash and remove the strawberries in advance and put them on the kitchen paper to absorb water. In this way, the bottom of the wrapped Dafu is not easy to water out.
- 11. Weigh the strawberries and prepare Red bean soup with the same weight as the strawberries. Each of my strawberries is about 30g, so the bean paste is also divided into 30g each. Rub it round and flatten it with your hands.
- 12. As shown in the picture, the bottom of the strawberry is facing downwards on the bean curd skin.
- 13. Wrap the bean paste skin at the tiger's mouth.
- 14. Wrap all ten strawberries, and if you don't like the whole package, you can also show a little strawberry tip. Strawberries come in different sizes, and the amount of bean paste also increases or decreases with the weight of the strawberries. I like to wrap all the strawberries in bean paste and wash them clean before wrapping them in glutinous rice skin, otherwise the bean paste on my hands will stick to the outer layer of the glutinous rice and affect the appearance.
- 15. After half an hour, take out the cooled Glutinous rice cakes. If you feel sticky, sprinkle some hand powder on the rubber pad to smooth the Glutinous rice cakes.
- 16. Divide into ten parts, each part weighing twice the weight of the strawberry, which means that a 30 gram strawberry requires 60 grams of parts.
- 17. Roll the dough like rolling dumpling wrappers into thin wrappers with thick center and thin edges.
- 18. The tip of the strawberry bean sand ball rushes down into the skin, and the bottom is pinched tightly like a bean bag. If you find that the skin is not big enough when closing the bottom, you can gently stretch the skin, which is still very elastic.

- 20. Roll the coconut again. It's delicious, dry and sticky. You can roll some hand powder without coconut, but it's definitely not as delicious as coconut.
- 21. Cut it open and eat it. The sweetness of bean paste neutralizes the acidity of strawberries, making it very delicious. It's best to finish it on the same day. If you can't finish it, put it in the refrigerator and seal it. When you eat it the next day, take it out in advance and let it soften at room temperature before eating. Don't put it on the third day, as the glutinous rice skin will harden and the strawberries will come out of the water.
