Osaka yaki is a Japanese vegetable pancake, also known as "Miyoshi yaki" in some regions according to the writing of Japanese kanji. Steps to make Okonomi-yaki

  • 1. Cut carrots, green peppers, cabbage, and bacon into small cubes and set aside.
  • After breaking the eggs, add water.
  • 3. Add flour.
  • 4. Mix it into a uniform batter, not too thin, with a consistency like yogurt. If the taste is strong, you can add some salt.
  • 5. Pour in the diced vegetables that were previously cut and stir well.
  • 6. Pour oil into a non stick pan.
  • 7. After heating the oil, pour in the batter and try to round it as much as possible.
  • 8. Sprinkle bacon on top and slowly fry over low heat until the surface is almost solidified.
