- I bought a large piece of pork belly and took the middle section to make this grilled pork belly.
- 2. Prepare cumin seeds, cinnamon, ginger, and dried chili peppers in a box for pork.
- 3. Put the pork belly in the pot and let the water cover the meat.
- 4. Bring to a boil over high heat and reduce to low heat for 20-25 minutes.
- 5. Take out the cooked meat and control the water. Cut the skin downwards with a knife, leaving about 5 millimeters of the skin without cutting through.
- 6. Put minced ginger and garlic, soy sauce, salt, sugar, and cumin powder into a bowl and stir evenly to make a sauce.
- 7. Apply the sauce evenly to the meat, including the cut area, so that the flavor is evenly distributed. After applying, marinate for 2-3 hours to allow it to fully absorb the flavor.
- 8. After marinating, use a sharp tool such as a steel needle to pierce the holes, arrange them evenly, and bake the holes to make the skin more crispy.
- 9. Sprinkle a little salt and apply a layer of vinegar on the skin of the meat to make it crispy.
- 10. Wrap the bottom with tin foil, exposing only the skin, and then bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. I baked it using the air fryer function.
- Take it out after 11.30 minutes, brush vinegar on the skin again, and continue baking at 190-200 degrees Celsius for another 20 minutes.
