Steps to make Eight Treasures Pumpkin
- 1. Black rice was soaked in water overnight in advance.
- 2. Red beans, soybeans, mung beans, green beans, Job's tears, and Job's tears should also be soaked in water overnight.
- 3. Wash Thai fragrant rice and peanuts with water and set aside.
- 4. Wash the pumpkin with water and set aside.
- 5. Cut the pumpkin into V-shaped stripes with a knife, making sure each line is cut through.
- 6. Remove the lid from the cut pumpkin and use a spoon to empty the inside of the pumpkin.
- 7. Mix the soaked beans and black rice with washed Thai fragrant peanuts.
- 8. Put it into the pumpkin.
- 9. Add an appropriate amount of water to the steamer.
- 10. After boiling on high heat, turn to medium heat and steam for about 30-40 minutes. (Depending on the size of the pumpkin)
- 11. After steaming, scoop up the pumpkin and eat it directly.
