Steps to make Laba Congee
- 1. Prepare the materials (actually quite casually, adjust according to your family's taste).
- 2. Soak overnight in cold water.
- 3. After soaking overnight, pour out the water for soaking the rice and add longan and dried red dates.
- 4. Add an appropriate amount of water.
- 5. Cover the lid and adjust the electric pressure cooker to the beans for about one hour.
- 6. After pressing, add a little rock sugar and stir to a boil.
- 7. Put it into a bowl and add a little medlar for decoration (medlar is not easy to boil at high temperature, so it can be sprinkled after pressing Congee).
