Steamed Pork Ribs with Glutinous Rice

Steps to make Steamed Pork Ribs with Glutinous Rice

  • Soak the glutinous rice overnight;
  • 2. In a large bowl, add 1 tablespoon of pork ribs, minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon of pepper powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Sichuan peppercorn powder, 1/4 teaspoon of sugar, 1 tablespoon of cooking wine, 1 teaspoon of corn starch, and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil. Marinate evenly;
  • 3. Spread corn husks on the bottom of the steamed pork ribs bowl;
  • 4. Mix pork ribs with glutinous rice;
  • 5. Place the mixed pork ribs and glutinous rice in a bowl lined with corn husks. Bring to a boil and steam over water for about 20 minutes.
