On weekends, various culinary desires come knocking on me, so as someone who used to hate going to stinky and messy markets, I suddenly find it interesting to wander around crowded markets. Looking at all kinds of colorful and diverse dishes, the crowds of people coming and going to buy groceries found that there are still many people who love life. Wandering around to the market, many fresh dishes were lying there eagerly, as if waiting for the customers to choose. Then, as I walked around, I unknowingly bought a lot of dishes and stuffed the fridge to the brim. I hadn't eaten a piece of liangfen I bought yesterday, but when I opened the fridge in the morning, I thought about stir frying it and bringing it to the office for dinner to save time. So I hurriedly prepared it, luckily this dish wasn't too troublesome and was quickly cooked out of the oven.

Steps to make Fried jelly

  • 1. All ingredients prepared: a piece of jelly, bean paste, scallions, garlic, dried chili peppers
  • 2. Cut the jelly into small cubes of about 1 to 2CM.
  • 3. Chop scallions and garlic, and cut dried chili into small pieces.
  • 4. Mix a sauce: Half a bowl of cornstarch (the spoon in the seasoning jar is about the size of a big spoon), soy sauce, a small amount of soy sauce, light soy sauce, scallions, garlic, and if you like spicy food, you can also add some chili oil
  • 5. Heat up the oil in the pot and saut é until fragrant, including dried scallions, garlic, and chili peppers (I didn't add the dried chili peppers later because I noticed they were on high heat). Add a spoonful of Douban sauce and stir fry over low heat until fragrant.
  • 6. Add the sliced jelly pieces and stir fry evenly.
  • 7. Pour in the prepared sauce, cover the pot over low heat and let it sit for one minute. Stir fry halfway to prevent the pot from sticking.
  • After one minute, you can taste the saltiness. Douban sauce itself has a salty taste, so only half a spoonful of salt was added. The amount of salt here can be added according to your own taste.
  • 9. Stir fry for a moment before serving. Sprinkle some scallions to decorate the pot before serving.
