I don't like to eat jujube Zongzi, because I don't like the taste of ripe jujube. I always think there is a smell of traditional Chinese medicine. My favorite food is clear water zongzi and Zongzi with ribs. This year, my son asked not to make salty Zongzi. I was relieved to listen to him. There was a bag of dates bought very early in the refrigerator, so I washed and ate some of them, and half of them were left. I took them to the store to wrap red date Zongzi. When I took a photo, I peeled off one and ate the Zongzi after taking the photo. The red dates were OK, very sweet, the pulp was thick, and there was no taste of Chinese medicine in my mouth. For the first time, I ate three Zongzi with red dates. Ha ha, Zongzi is better than jujube!
