Steps to make Ice skin mooncakes

  • 1. Prepare the ice sheet material
  • 2. Prepare homemade purple potato filling and bean paste filling
  • 3. Melt the butter and let it cool for later use
  • 4. Crush rose petals and set aside for use
  • 5. Sift glutinous rice flour, sticky Rice noodles, clarified flour and sugar powder into the basin
  • 6. Add milk to the basin and slowly stir evenly with chopsticks
  • 7. Add melted butter and continue stirring until the butter blends in
  • 8. Let the prepared powder stand for 30 minutes
  • 9. Cover the batter with cling film, put it into a steamer, bring to a boil over high heat, and steam for 20-25 minutes
  • 10. After steaming, take it out and let it cool, knead it into a smooth dough
  • 11. Divide the dough into three equal parts, and knead the matcha powder thoroughly into the dough in one part

  • 19. After closing, knead into a 50g ball
  • 20. In the mooncake mold, there is a thin layer of olive oil brushed with an oil brush
