Steps to make Homemade chili oil
- 1. Put an appropriate amount of coarse chili powder into the bowl.
- 2. Add fine chili powder according to your preference. If you like the color to be bright red, add two spoonfuls. If you don't want it to be so red, add one spoonful.
- 3. I have been using this brand all along, which is produced in Tianjin. I thought it was from Korea and bought it, but later found out that I didn't want to return it. I searched the entire website but couldn't find any imported Korean products, so I kept it. I didn't expect it to be really good.
- 4. Put a lot of sesame seeds.
- 5. Add a small amount of thirteen spices.
- 6. Add a little salt.
- 7. Heat the oil until it emits smoke, then turn off the heat. Let it dry for half a minute. First, pour a small amount of oil into the chili powder and mix well.
- 8. Pour all the oil in again.
