Steps to make Shredded beef
- 1. Prepare the materials in the picture (choose beef with clear patterns)
- 2. Cut the beef into large pieces, add ginger and beef in cold water, bring to a boil, and cook for 5 minutes before removing (it's best to remove the white tendons, but my knife skills are not good, and my knife is too dull at home, so I omitted them)
- 3. Cook and shrink the beef, cut it into small strips, rinse with water again, and wring out the excess water
- 4. Add salt baked chicken powder and stir evenly
- 5. Put the beef into the pot and add all seasonings except cumin powder and chili powder
- 6. Add water and boil for 40 minutes (I prefer a chewy texture, this time is just right. If you like something softer, you can extend the time or use a pressure cooker instead)
- 7. Take out the cooked beef and drain the water
- 8. Put oil in the pot, heat it up for 5 minutes, and then pour in the beef
- 9. Fry until it is crispy and soft to your liking
- 10. Retrieve the fried beef
- 11. Sprinkle cumin powder and chili powder while it's hot. After taking a photo, I realized that I forgot to add white sesame seeds. Adding sesame seeds tastes even better
