Steps to make Kaiyang Meat Rice Taro Soup

  • 1. Preparation of raw materials.
  • 2. Peel and chop the taro, then soak it in water for 15 minutes.
  • 3. Remove the tofu from the box, cut it into small pieces, and blanch it in boiling water for about ten seconds.
  • 4. Cut the lean meat into small pieces, add salt, cooking wine, cornstarch, and pepper, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.
  • 5. Heat the wok and cool the oil, stir fry ginger until fragrant, add diced meat and stir fry until color changes.
  • 6. Add diced taro.
  • 7. Add diced tofu and stir fry (add the stir fry water together)
  • 8. Add an appropriate amount of water and simmer until the taro is crispy and tender.
  • 9. Add a little salt, a little white sugar, and pour in the starch while pushing in a circle in one direction with a spoon.
  • 10. Just boil and sprinkle chopped scallions.
  • 11. Taro soup is ready.
