Mooncakes symbolize reunion and are a must eat item during the Mid Autumn Festival. I have already made several batches of mooncakes these days, most of which have been distributed to family and friends. I also made a few crab shaped mooncakes with a little five kernel filling, which was very interesting and put an end to this year's DIY Mid Autumn Festival mooncakes.

Steps to make Patterned mooncakes
- 1. Mix medium gluten powder and milk powder for later use.
- 2. Mix and stir the conversion syrup, sunflower seed oil, and water evenly.
- 3. Sieve in flour and milk powder.
- 4. Knead into a dough and let it stand for at least 1 hour.
- 5. Weigh 30g each of the five kernel fillings and 20g each of the dough, wrap them in a round shape and set aside.
- 6. Use 30 grams of dough again, first make a small piece of dough into a circle, and then use two pieces of dough to make the two front claws of the crab.
- 7. The remaining dough is made into eight crab claws.
- 8. Place the prepared crab claws on the small round plate, and then place the mooncake blank on top.
- 9. Take turns and use black beans to press the crab's eyes.
- 10. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees above heat and 220 degrees below heat. Bake in the oven for 8 minutes.
- 11. Take it out and brush a layer of egg yolk liquid. Bake for another 5 minutes and brush the egg mixture again. Take the exam for about 10 more minutes, and the surface will be golden.
- 12. Interesting crab mooncakes add joy to the festival.
