Steps to make Watermelon sago
- 1. Prepare materials.
- 2. Soak the sago in water at 80 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes (be sure to stir with chopsticks when adding water to the sago)
- 3. Remove the soaked sago from the water and drain the excess water.
- 4. Take a portion of the watermelon and squeeze it into watermelon juice.
- 5. Use a spoon to scoop a portion of the watermelon into balls for later use.
- 6. Add water to the pot, add rock sugar and other ingredients. Once the water boils, add the sago (stir with chopsticks) and cook for 8 minutes. When you see a small white spot in the sago's heart, turn off the heat and simmer for 2 minutes.
- 7. When the sago is completely transparent, rinse it with cold water several times until it cools down, and then scoop it up with a strainer.
- 8. Pour the sago into a bowl, add the filtered watermelon juice and stir well. Garnish with watermelon balls and refrigerate.
