Steps to make Christmas Chocolate Wreath Bread

  • 1. Ingredients: 310g Jinlongyu high gluten wheat flour, 50g sugar, 3g salt, 4g yeast, 4g eggs, 65g butter, 25g milk, 135g filling: 30g dried blueberries, 100g chocolate blocks, 100g butter, 25g pumpkin seeds, 20g crushed walnuts, 20g.
  • 2. Put all ingredients except butter into the bread maker, knead for 35 minutes, and add butter when the dough becomes smooth.
  • 3. Continue to knead until a thin film is formed, then roll it round for the first fermentation.
  • 4. Fermentation should be done at least twice, then rolled and relaxed for 15 minutes.
  • 5. Melt the butter and chocolate blocks in the filling over water and stir evenly for later use.
  • 6. Roll the dough into rectangular pieces, approximately 25 * 50 in size, apply chocolate paste, and sprinkle with nuts.
  • 7. Then roll it up from one side, pinch it tightly, and knead it into a length of about 60CM.
  • 8. Cut in half and expose the filling part, then twist and roll two pieces together to form a flower wreath for secondary fermentation. Place it in a warm and humid environment for about 30 minutes.
  • 9. Place it in a preheated oven at 175 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes.
