Steps to make Braised Winter Melon in Brown Sauce
- 1. Peel and cut winter melon into pieces.
- 2. Make a few cuts on the skin of the winter melon, then dip it in dark soy sauce and let the skin face up for about 5 minutes.
- 3. Heat the pot and add oil. Put the winter melon skin facing down into the pot and fry over medium heat.
- 4. Fry until the skin bubbles.
- 5. Add an appropriate amount of sugar, dark soy sauce, light soy sauce, and South milk, then add high broth and simmer over low heat.
