Technique
Steps to make Vegetable abalone and rib soup
- 1. Cut scallions into sections and ginger slices for later use.
- 2. Abalone with intestines removed, washed, and cut into flower blades
- 3. Boil water in the pot and blanch the abalone. (Only a few seconds are needed)
- 4. Wash and cut the pork ribs into small sections.
- 5. Put water in the pot, add cold water from pork ribs to the pot, add scallions and ginger, and cook until the water boils.
- 6. Skim off the foam in the pot, remove the pork ribs and put them into the electric pressure cooker.
- 7. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot.
- 8. Put in two or three slices of ginger.
- 9. Choose meat and pork ribs → cook soup, with pressure and time selected by default.
- 10. Press the midway add menu button.
- 11. Cut the carrot into chunks and set aside.
- Cut corn into chunks and set aside.
- 13. After the electric pressure cooker prompts to add vegetables midway, open the lid of the pot and add an appropriate amount of salt to season.
- 14. Add carrots and corn.
- 15. Cover the pot, press the start button, and the electric pressure cooker will continue to cook soup.
- After the pressure cooker is completed, press the juice collection and flavor enhancement button. (There is no need to collect juice when making soup. This function is selected to add abalone, so the collection time cannot be shortened to 3 minutes according to the default of 8 minutes.)
- 17. Open the lid of the pot and add abalone to the pot.
- The soup in the electric pressure cooker starts to boil, and after 3 minutes, the abalone is cooked, and a pot of delicious soup is completed.
