Steps to make Shacha beef slices

  • 1. Slice the garlic and ginger, and cut the cabbage into sections.
  • 2. Heat up the wok over high heat, add garlic and ginger slices to the heat, and stir fry until fragrant.
  • 3. Pour in Chinese cabbage, add 1/3 teaspoon of salt, and stir fry until fully cooked.
  • 4. Put the vegetables into the plate and pour out the remaining water from the pot.
  • 5. Prepare a bowl of sauce first, put 1 tablespoon of sand tea sauce, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1+1/2 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of flavored vegetable paste, 1/3 tablespoon of pepper powder, 1/2 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil, and 1/2 cup of water in a bowl, and stir well.
  • 6. Cut beef slices and add about 1/4 of the egg white. Grab evenly with your hands and place the pot on the stove over medium high heat. Heat the pot to medium heat and add base oil. Add beef slices over medium heat and stir fry until six to seven times cooked.
