- 1. Prepare pure milk, yogurt, and sugar. The ratio of milk to yogurt is 1:5. If you prefer a thicker texture, you can choose 1:4
- Before making yogurt, put the container to be used for fermenting yogurt into boiling water and rinse it thoroughly, then drain the water. (If there are still water droplets when using it, use kitchen paper to dry it off)
- 3. Pour the milk into the milk pot.
- 4. Add an appropriate amount of white sugar and simmer over low heat until the milk boils slightly and the white sugar melts. The amount of white sugar depends on personal preference, and it is not recommended to add too much. However, if it is not added, the yogurt will not be sweet enough
- 5. Stir with a spoon while cooking, and let the cooked milk cool off until it's not too hot to touch.
