Rice dumpling with Almond and Sesame
I love to eat those white sweet almonds, no matter how they are made. It's Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) Festival now, so my Yuanxiao (Filled round balls made of glutinous rice-flour for Lantern Festival) stuffing can't be without this almond stuffing.

Steps to make Rice dumpling with Almond and Sesame

  • 1. Pour boiling water into glutinous rice flour, and mix while pouring. Afterwards, knead it into a smooth dough and cover it with cling film for 1 hour
  • 2. Take 1/3 of the dough and add red yeast powder, knead it into a pink dough
  • 3. Two types of dough can be stacked, I didn't take any more pictures
  • 4. Stir fry sesame mixture until cooked
  • 5. Crush the white almonds directly
  • 6. Crush the sesame seeds, pour them into a container along with crushed almonds, rock sugar powder, butter, and honey, and knead thoroughly
  • 7. Form a ball.
  • 8. Take an appropriate amount of dough and wrap it with filling
  • 9. All wrapped rice dumpling
  • 10. Put hot water into the pot, cook it and add a bowl of rice wine.
