Steps to make Oat kernel glutinous rice dumpling
- 1. Ingredients: Yanmai Ren (soaked).
- 2. Glutinous rice.
- 3. Zongzi leaves.
- 4. Cotton thread.
- 5. Pour the glutinous rice and soaked oat kernels into a stainless steel rice sieve and wash them thoroughly. Drain the water and set aside for later use.
- 6. Unpack the zongzi leaves, take them out, clean them, and set them aside for later use.
- 7. Take two overlapping zongzi leaves and roll them into a funnel shape.
- 8. Add oat kernels and glutinous rice.
- 9. Wrap it according to your own technique and tie it with cotton thread.
- 10. Then, stack them in an electric rice cooker and add Zongzi that has not been wrapped with clean water.
- 11. Cover the lid, plug in the power, press the cooking button and cook for 3 hours. That's it. (Water needs to be added when cooking)
- 12. Then, open the lid and take out the Zongzi.
- Finally, peel off the zongzi leaves, sprinkle with white sugar, and it's ready to eat.
