Steps to make Steamed Tofu with Crab Willow

  • 1. Main materials; 1 box of lactone tofu, a suitable amount of soaked scallops, 4 crab meat sticks, seasoning: 2 teaspoons of light soy sauce, 1/3 teaspoon of white sugar, 1 chili pepper, 2 dried chili peppers, 1 scallion, and 2 grams of salt.
  • 2. Tear off the plastic film on the surface of the tofu and place it on a plate.
  • 3. Cut the tofu into small squares, control the water content, and place it in a deeper plate (lactone tofu has a high water content, be sure to empty the water in advance, otherwise more soup will be produced during steaming, which will dilute the taste).
  • 4. Take a bowl and add 2 teaspoons of light soy sauce, 2 grams of salt, 1/3 teaspoon of white sugar, and a little chicken essence. Stir well to make a sauce.
  • 5. Cut the crab meat stick into small pieces, tear the soaked scallops into shreds, cut the chili peppers into small circles, cut the scallions into scallions, and cut the dried chili peppers into chili circles for later use (if there are no scallops, you can replace them with small shrimp skin, shrimp, or sea rice).
  • 6. Sprinkle crab meat sticks, whole shells, and chili rings evenly on the tofu. Drizzle the prepared sauce.
  • 7. Put it into a boiling steamer, place another plate on top, cover it with a lid, steam over medium heat for 15 minutes, then turn off the heat and take it out. (Buckling a plate is to prevent the water vapor from the lid from dripping into the bowl, diluting the freshness).
  • 8. Take out the steamed crab roe tofu and sprinkle it with chopped scallions and bell peppers. It is fresh, tender, smooth, and slightly spicy.
