Steps to make Marble rice dumpling with Black Sesame

  • 1. All materials are prepared!
  • 2. Melt the butter and set it aside.
  • 3. Mix black sesame powder with granulated sugar.
  • 4. Add melted butter and mix well.
  • 5. Add milk and mix well.
  • 6. Place it in a square mold lined with oil paper and freeze for 2 hours.
  • Cut the frozen black sesame into 18 pieces.
  • 8. After rounding, freeze for 2 hours until the filling is firm.
  • 9. Now make rice dumpling skin: boil it with sugar and water.
  • 10. Mix glutinous rice flour and rice flour, pour sugar water and knead them into a ball.
  • 11. Take out 1/6 and add cocoa powder, knead well.
  • Roll two doughs into the same sheet shape. Stacked together.
  • 13. Cut open from the middle, spray water on both halves, stack them together, and then repeat twice.
  • 14. After stacking, the cut surface looks layered, much like pork belly, right!
  • 15. Roll the dough into strips.
  • 16. Divide into 18 parts.
