I wanted to make Dim sum with my own jujube paste, but it was too hot to do it. I kept putting it in the refrigerator to freeze. I wanted to make bread easily, but I didn't feel too hot, so I made this kind of jujube paste bread.

Steps to make Jujube puree and wheat embryo bread

  • 1. Take out the jujube paste filling in advance and thaw it for later use
  • 2. Put all the ingredients in the main ingredient into the bread machine and dough
  • 3. Add softened butter after a dough kneading process, and then use another dough kneading process to knead the dough to the expansion stage
  • 4. Cover with plastic wrap and ferment until twice the size.
  • 5. Exhaust agent, cover with plastic wrap and relax for 10 minutes
  • 6. Take a dough, roll it into rectangular pieces, add some wheat germ, and then add jujube paste filling. The jujube paste I made is not too thick, so I added some wheat germ to allow the germ to absorb some of the moisture from the jujube paste. You can also choose not to add germ
  • 7. Fold both sides in half and wrap them around
  • 8. Fold the two missing ends in half to the middle
  • 9. Brush the surface with egg mixture and then cover it with wheat germ
  • 10. Prepare everything and place it in a baking tray,
  • 11. Moisturize and ferment until twice the size, then cut the surface
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees for 5 minutes and bake for 15 minutes
  • 13. When cut open, you can see the jujube paste inside, which is very sweet and fragrant
