Steps to make Pumpkin glutinous rice cake

  • 1. First, make black sesame filling. Put black sesame paste, sugar, and cooked cake powder into a bowl.
  • 2. Mix into balls and divide into 10 grams of filling each.
  • 3. Peel and remove the flesh from the pumpkin, cut it into thin slices, and steam over water for about 5 minutes.
  • 4. Put the steamed pumpkin into a bowl and press it casually. Pour sugar and glutinous rice flour into it while it is hot.
  • 5. Knead into a non stick, soft powder ball.
  • 6. Take 25g glutinous rice dough, knead it round and press it into a small bowl with your thumb.
  • 7. Put in the filling.
  • 8. Close the mouth and knead it into a round shape.
  • 9. Place it in white sesame seeds, flatten them, and cover both sides with white sesame seeds.
  • 10. Place it in a greased steamer, prepare it one by one, then bring it to a boil over high heat and steam for about 7 minutes.
