Steps to make Jade and White Jade Rolls
- 1. Prepare the ingredients (pork belly is pre chopped and can also be mashed with a blender).
- 2. Cut scallions, ginger, garlic, and shiitake mushrooms into minced meat, then add soy sauce, salt, pepper, and thirteen spices and stir clockwise until the sauce is absorbed into the meat filling.
- 3. Let the prepared meat filling sit for 20 minutes to taste.
- 4. Blanch the cabbage in the pot until soft, then control the water to dry. Spread it on a cutting board and add meat filling.
- 5. Roll one end of the leaf first, then retract the soft edges on both sides and continue to roll it up tightly.
- 6. After all the rolls are rolled up, steam over high heat in a steamer for eight minutes.
- 7. Cut a cabbage flower for decoration during the steaming process.
