Natural cranberry juice does not contain any artificial colors and can present a beautiful red color. It is also rich in vitamins and various nutrients, sour, sweet, and very suitable for children to eat.

Steps to make Cranberry juice gummies

  • 1. Prepare all ingredients;
  • 2. Add 3g of edible citric acid and 3g of water to a small bowl, stir until dissolved;
  • 3. Take another bowl, take half of the amount of white sugar (50g), add 7g of pectin powder, stir and mix evenly. The purpose of doing this is to prevent the pectin powder from forming clumps and not easily dispersing after being cooked;
  • 4. Pour 200ml of American cranberry juice into a small pot, heat over low heat, and cook until the edge of the pot starts to bubble. Then add a mixture of white sugar and pectin powder;
  • 5. Quickly stir until the pectin powder is completely dissolved without clumping. If there is a small amount of clumping, turn off the heat and stir until dissolved before turning on the heat;
  • 6. Cook over low heat until almost boiling, pour in the remaining white sugar and 50g of water. Water refers to corn syrup, which can also be replaced by maltose or other high viscosity syrup;
  • 7. Cook slowly over low heat and continue stirring to prevent sticking to the pan. Turn off the heat when the sugar syrup reaches 108-110 degrees Celsius;
  • 8. Quickly pour in a mixed solution of citric acid and water after turning off the heat, and stir evenly;
  • 9. First, place the silicone mold in a flat plate, then pour the sugar juice into the mold. After cooling, it will solidify into soft candy. If you want to accelerate the cooling, you can put it in the refrigerator for refrigeration;
  • 10. Finally, demold it. The surface of the gummie may be a bit sticky to your hands. You can roll it in a circle of fine sugar to make the surface covered with fine sugar. The bear juice gummie is ready.
