No need for sugar flipping molds, no excessive materials, and a simple method can also create different sugar flipping flowers. The cupcake uses the sponge cake method, and the cake section is based on my previous recipe (Sponge Cupcake Beginner Edition). Not easy to collapse, taste delicate and soft! Because I personally don't like too much sweetness, I also try to reduce the amount of sugar used when flipping sugar. Therefore, the surface of the paper cupcake is covered with purple sweet potato puree, which is simple and easy to make without losing its beauty~~~~

Steps to make Flower flipped sugar paper cupcake
- 1. Prepare a cupcake, purple sweet potato puree, and a decorative mouthpiece. If there is no decorative mouthpiece, you can use a smaller round shape from home to cut.
- 2. Cut the top of the cake flat with a knife to make it even.
- 3. Touch the purple potato puree.
- 4. A 1:1 ratio of sugar cream and dry Perth. (I used 15 grams each)
- 5. Use a bamboo stick to pick a little pigment and knead it evenly. (Don't add too much pigment yet, adjust the color appropriately)
- 6. First, make the small flower part: flatten the orange yellow dough and roll it into thin pieces, try to make it as thin as possible, and use the flower mounting mouth to carve out small round pieces one by one.
- 7.5-6 discs stacked together.
- 8. Use a bamboo stick to press it in the middle and start rolling it up from the top round piece. (Starting from the direction of the arrow)
- 9. Roll up and use bamboo sticks to assist in breaking.
- 10. A well made little flower.
- 11. Place it on a paper cup.
- 12. Making flower paths: Roll green dough into thin slices, and use bamboo skewers to help cut through each slender strip with a knife.
- 13. Gently rub it a few times.
- 14. Pinch tightly in the middle and place it on a paper cup.
- 15. Rub another slender strip in half and place it on the flower path.
- 16. Twist thin strips to make a bow.
- 17. Use bamboo skewers to form a bow shape, which can be caught with honey or water chains.
- 18. Place it in the middle of the flower path.
- 19. The bow can also be slightly flattened.
- 20. Cut circular discs using the same method.
- 21. Place more pieces.
- 22. Roll it up in the same way and gently press one end with your fingers.
- 23. One end is an open flower, the other end is pinched tightly and rolled up.
- 24. Place it on a paper cup.
- 25. Rub small strips of grass using the same method as making flower diameters.
- 26. Place it under the flowers. Decorate with butterflies and sprinkle small colored beads. (Butterflies are made in a different color, and you can also change the color by adding a little pigment to the remaining edges and corners, and press it out with a butterfly mold.)
