Delicious steamed cake
This cake can only be made with low gluten flour instead of using big Rice noodles as the main raw material. The method of making this cake is the same as that of cake making. The difference between steaming and baking is that it is not easy to burn, not greasy, and steamed cake has bulky tissue, good taste, high appearance, melting in the mouth, suitable for all ages.

Steps to make Delicious steamed cake

  • 1. Separate the egg whites and yolks into two oil-free and waterless containers.
  • 2. Add milk, 10g white sugar, 3g salt to the egg yolk and stir well.
  • 3. Mix 40g of edible oil evenly.
  • 4. Add sieved large Rice noodles and low flour and mix evenly.
  • 5. First, beat the protein into coarse bubbles, add 20g of sugar to the protein and continue stirring.
  • 6. Add sugar in 3 portions, 20g each time, this is the third time adding sugar.
  • 7. Press until the protein is in this state.
  • 8. Take the egg whites in three portions and add them to the egg yolk batter, stirring evenly.
  • 9. Add the egg white to the egg yolk batter for the second time and stir evenly.
  • 10. Pour the remaining eggs into the egg yolk batter and mix evenly. The cake batter is now complete.
  • 11. Prepare goji berries, green and red shreds in advance for decoration (the green and red shreds are a bit dry, and the color will be good after steaming).
  • 12. Pour the cake batter into the cake mold.
  • 13. Arrange the goji berries briefly, sprinkle green and red shreds onto the cake batter for decoration.
  • 14. Cover the cake batter with film to prevent steam from dripping in. After the water in the pot boils, place it in the cake mold and steam for 45 to 50 minutes. After stopping the heat, wait for 3 to 5 minutes before opening the pot lid (add enough water at once and do not add water halfway).
  • 15. The cake liner is intact. This is my homemade cake from the past two years, and I have made it N times with excellent results.
  • 16. Cut open the cake, the texture is fluffy, and it melts in your mouth.
  • The cake has a strong aroma of rice, which is not sticky or flaky.
