Steps to make Tusi Rose

  • 1. Wash the apple, remove the pit, and cut it into thin slices. The thinner the better, and cut all sizes into small pieces
  • 2. Pour an appropriate amount of water into the pot and bring to a boil. Add 2 tablespoons of white sugar, 2 drops of lemon juice, and red yeast powder. Cook until the white sugar dissolves
  • 3. Add apple slices
  • 4. Cook until soft, turn off the heat, and soak in water for 20 minutes
  • 5. Soften butter, low gluten flour, sugar powder, egg mixture at room temperature, and put them into a bowl
  • 6. Knead into a ball, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it stand for 10 minutes
  • 7. Matcha toast, use a heart-shaped mold to press out the shape, remove the edges of the toast (it can be other toast slices, this Matcha toast is included in my recipe, you can refer to it if you like it!)
  • 8. Use a smaller heart-shaped mold to press out the shape and take out the inner part
  • 9. Biscuit dough, take a ball and knead it into a long strip, press it into thin slices
  • 10. Drain the soaked apple slices, soak them slightly with paper to dry them, and place them one by one in the center of the dough (from small to large, with smaller stamens) as shown in the picture
  • 11. Fold the bottom up and press it onto the bottom of the apple slice
  • 12. Roll it up again and use a cutting knife to help
  • 13. Just one rose is ready
  • 14. Place three roses in the empty space of the chieftain's heart, try to fill the bottom of the heart as much as possible, and after baking, it will be a beautiful rose

  • 16. Put it into a baking tray, tear a hole in tin foil to cover the toast, and expose the flowers (because the toast is cooked and afraid of being burnt). Preheat the oven
