Compared to young people nowadays, it was difficult to see pastries like cakes and bread in small towns during our time! My heartfelt desire is that someone who goes on a business trip to Shanghai can bring some back and have fun! Sir, it's rare for him to go on a long journey. After returning home, he delivered a box of chocolates to me like a treasure! As we enter our forties, we still enjoy eating chocolate pies, and the bakeries outside sell heavy oil and milk. So, I made it myself at home, choosing dark chocolate. Butter was replaced with vegetable oil, cream cheese sandwich was replaced with marshmallow, and the chocolate coating on the outside was also saved.... After so many years, the ingredients and flavors of chocolate pies have been changing, but I always remember a little sweetness from that ordinary day!

Steps to make Chocolate Soft Heart Pie

  • 1. First, make a chocolate cake by mixing flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda, and set aside for later use
  • 2. Pour eggs, fine sugar, and vegetable oil into a basin
  • 3. Beat evenly with an egg beater
  • 4. Chop the dark chocolate into small bowls, heat over water and stir continuously until it dissolves. Then pour it into the egg oil mixture and stir evenly
  • 5. Pour in milk and continue to stir evenly
  • 6. Sift in a mixture of flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda
  • 7. Use a rubber scraper to stir evenly and make a cake batter
  • 8. Load the batter into a flower mounting bag and cut a small hole at the front end of the bag
  • 9. Squeeze circular batter with a diameter of approximately 5CM on the pie plate. If squeezed directly onto the baking tray, there should be enough distance between the batters, so I made a total of 18 pieces
  • 10. Place the baking tray in the middle layer of an oven preheated at 180 ℃ and bake for about 10 minutes
  • 11. After the cake cools down slightly, put half a marshmallow in between every two cakes as a filling
  • 12. Put half a cake and half a marshmallow into the microwave for 15 seconds
  • 13. Cover the other piece and let it cool. You can also sprinkle some sugar powder
