Steps to make Red Tea MaFen
- 1. Take out the red tea leaves and mix them with milk to soak for more than 10 minutes (I only soaked for 5 minutes), set aside.
- 2. Add sugar to the whole egg and stir evenly
- 3. Add salad oil and continue stirring evenly
- 4. Add milk black tea liquid and continue stirring evenly
- 5. Add sieved low powder and baking powder, and mix with a scraper in irregular directions to form a uniform batter
- 6. Fill the paper tray to eight or nine tenths full
- 7. Place the preheated oven in the middle layer, over high and low heat, at 180 degrees Celsius, and bake for about 20 minutes
- 8. The cake is slowly expanding during baking
- 9. After being taken out of the furnace and cooled down, it still feels very soft
