This Zongzi is also a sweet Zongzi, but it does not use glutinous rice completely, but adds some big yellow rice. The big yellow rice is also sticky, but for the elderly with poor stomach function, it is better than pure glutinous rice, not so difficult to digest. This Zongzi is made for my mother-in-law, so yellow rice is specially added. Walnut kernels are added to increase the taste and nutrition, and to occupy more space. In this way, less rice can be put, which is easy for the elderly to digest. It was supposed to add red dates, but my mother-in-law loves honey dates very much. The Dragon Boat Festival only lasts once a year, so we let her eat Zongzi with honey dates as she likes.
