It will soon be the Chinese traditional festival "Double Ninth Festival". Every year on this day, we will climb high to admire chrysanthemums, respect the old, and make traditional Chinese Dim sum - Double Ninth Cake. The traditional Double Ninth Cake is usually made of preserved fruit, bean paste or jujube paste. I added some new elements to the one I made today. I used dried cranberries and honey red beans to replace the traditional preserved fruit, and added cranberry jam to add a new layer of taste to the filling. Proper acid neutralized the pure sweetness of Red bean soup, making the taste more layered and rich. You can also try it~
