Steps to make Chongyang Cake
- 1. Prepare materials.
- 2. 100g sticky Rice noodles+150g glutinous rice flour+65g white granulated sugar+130g water, mix and knead evenly.
- 3. Sieve the powder with your hand or silicone spatula. (It must be sieved, otherwise it won't be fluffy.)
- 4. Lay the first layer of mixed powder on the bottom of the container, about 2cm thick, and steam for 5 minutes.
- 5. On the first layer of steamed cake, lay a layer of bean paste flat.
- 6. Cover with the second layer of flour and continue steaming for 5 minutes.
- 7. On the steamed second layer of cake, lay the second layer of bean paste flat.
- On the surface of the bean paste filling, spread the remaining mixture evenly and add cranberries and raisins.
- Steam for 15 minutes.
- 10. Cut into pieces and eat.
