Steps to make Braised pork

  • 1. 2 pounds of pork belly, 1 onion, 4 vegetables, and 5 dried shiitake mushrooms.
  • 2. Dice onions and shiitake mushrooms (soaked in hair), wash pork belly, and use kitchen paper to absorb excess water before cutting into diced meat.
  • 3. Heat up the wok and add oil, then add diced onions and fry over low heat until golden brown. Remove and drain the oil to make scallion pastries, leaving the scallion oil for later use.
  • 4. Pour the pork belly into onion oil and stir fry until the surface is golden. Put the pork belly directly into the pot and slowly stir fry over low heat to remove excess oil.
  • 5. Add chopped scallions and ginger, add diced shiitake mushrooms and stir fry until fragrant.
  • 6. Pour in 3 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of dark soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons of cooking wine, stir fry and color.
  • 7. Add boiled eggs and onion crisps, soak in shiitake mushroom water and add all the ingredients, then add star anise, cloves, rock sugar, and salt and simmer over high heat.
  • 8. Stew for about 40 minutes until the pork belly is soft and tender. Finally, add to the sauce over high heat and stir fry continuously until thick.
  • 9. Boil water in a pot, add a few drops of cooking oil after boiling, blanch the vegetables and remove for later use.
  • 10. Finally, place the blanched vegetables on top of the rice, split the braised eggs in half, and drizzle with braised meat.
  • 11. The sauce is rich, the meat strips are fresh and tender, and mixed thoroughly with rice, making every bite irresistible.
  • 12. The authentic braised pork is accompanied by green vegetables, which looks very cute.
  • 13. The sauce has a strong aroma and melts upon entry. Paired with a bowl of rice, it's really delicious.
  • 14. Rich sauce envelops every grain of rice, while diced meat and shiitake mushrooms bring a rich taste that is irresistible.
