Steps to make Braised pork

  • 1. Dice pork belly.
  • 2. Cut the onion into small pieces.
  • 3. Soak dried shiitake mushrooms in warm water.
  • 4. Cut it into small pieces.
  • 5. Flatten garlic, slice ginger, cut scallions into sections, and prepare spices.
  • 6. Heat a red oil pan and fry the chopped onions over low heat until golden brown. Drain the oil and set aside.
  • 7. Use base oil to fry the pork belly until it changes color.
  • 8. Add diced shiitake mushrooms and stir fry until fragrant.
  • 9. Add diced onions and stir fry evenly.
  • 10. Transfer to a boiling pot and add shelled boiled eggs, ginger and onion spices, and rock sugar.
  • 11. Pour in clean water without any ingredients and simmer for 40 minutes over low heat.
  • 12. Collect the juice over high heat (no need to dry it, the leftover juice mixed with rice is amazing).
