Steps to make Rice dumpling with Purple Potato and Sesame

  • 1. Steam the purple sweet potatoes and mash them into a paste
  • 2. Mix the glutinous rice flour with hot water to form a dough, and then separate some of them and combine them with purple potato paste (add a small amount of water first, then add the potato paste, and then see whether to add water again, which is better). The dough should not stick to the hands.
  • 3. Stir fry the sesame seeds, crush them, and mix in lard and sugar.
  • 4. Knead two doughs into a round shape and fold them together.
