Steps to make Mixed soup hot pot
- 1. Boil quail eggs in a clay pot with water.
- 2. Wash the mushrooms thoroughly and cut them with a cross shaped knife.
- 3. Cut off the old parts of the shiitake mushrooms, wash and shred them for later use.
- 4. After boiling quail eggs, turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- 5. Peel and cut the taro in Lipu into pieces.
- 6. Heat up the oil pan and fry the taro in Lipu.
- 7. Fry the taro in Lipu until it floats to the surface of the oil, then remove it and drain the oil.
- 8. Slice the white radish, either half or one is fine.
- 9. Cut the corn into small pieces.
- 10. Put 6 bowls of water and 2 pieces of thick soup in the black clay pot.
- 11. Add sliced white radish and corn to start boiling the hot pot soup base.
