Steps to make Steamed Spareribs with Soy Sauce and Taro
- 1. Wash the pork ribs and chop them into small pieces;
- 2. Peel the taro and cut it into small pieces;
- 3. I am using fermented black beans from canned dace fish, which have a stronger aroma
- 4. Put the pork ribs into a large bowl, add ginger, garlic, and fermented black beans, add light soy sauce, chicken flour, and cornstarch, stir well, and marinate for about an hour to taste* Adding cornstarch and steaming it can maintain the tender and smooth taste of pork ribs
- 5. Spread taro at the bottom of the bowl;
- 6. Place the marinated pork ribs on top of the taro;
- 7. Steam in the pot for 20 minutes, that's it* I am using an electric pressure cooker here, which is suitable for 20 minutes. Pressure cookers can also be used. Adjust the time based on the selected pot and the amount of pork ribs served
