Steps to make Fried Lotus Root Box

  • 1. Prepare materials.
  • 2. Add scallions, salt, pepper, MSG, soy sauce, cooking wine, sesame oil, and an egg to the minced meat and stir well.
  • 3. Fill the minced meat between two lotus roots and press them tightly.
  • 4. Add an egg and water to the flour, stir well to form a batter.
  • 5. Wrap the lotus roots in batter.
  • 6. Fry both sides in a wok until golden brown, flipping the sides over for about 4 minutes.
  • 7. After removing it, place it on kitchen paper to absorb excess oil.
