Steps to make Laba Congee
- 1. Prepare red beans, black beans, flower beans and peas.
- 2. Prepare wheat kernels, buckwheat, crushed corn, and oats.
- 3. Prepare peanuts, lotus seeds, sorghum rice, and white sesame seeds.
- 4. Prepare rice and soybeans.
- 5. Soak various beans and other ingredients in advance for 3-4 hours. Wash the wheat kernels and buckwheat, and put them together in a clay pot.
- 6. Add cold water; Bring to a boil over high heat and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes.
- 7. Add oats, corn residue, and sorghum to continue boiling for 15 minutes.
