Steps to make Fragrant fried rice cake
- 1. 420g glutinous rice, after cleaning, put it into a bread bucket and inject 275g of water (glutinous rice does not need to be soaked)
- 2. After powering on the bread maker, select menu 19 to make sweet potatoes, press the start button, and the entire process takes 50 minutes (the time for making rice cakes needs to be shortened)
- 3. When the glutinous rice is cooked and enters the mixing program, simply stir for a few minutes to turn off the power (until the glutinous rice is semi granular)
- 4. Take out the bread bucket and cover it with a semi dry cotton cloth (to prevent the surface of the rice cake from becoming dry and hard)
- 5. Lay plastic wrap on the cutting board
- 6. Put on disposable gloves, dip them in some water (anti sticking), take out the rice cake, and place it on plastic wrap for shaping
- 7. Cut the rice cake into long strips and wrap them with plastic wrap. Put them in the refrigerator and refrigerate for about a day (pinch them by hand to make them harder)
- 8. Before frying, mix the sesame sugar powder: one spoonful of black sesame powder and one and a half spoonfuls of sugar, and mix well
- 9. Cut the dried and hard rice cake into pieces (thicker is better)
- 10. Heat the oil for 7 layers, then add the rice cake chunks and fry over high heat until both sides turn golden brown and the outside is hard while the inside is soft. Remove from the pot
- 11. Sprinkle black sesame sugar powder on it while eating, it tastes great!
