Steps to make Northeast Rice Bun
- 1. Peel and cut potatoes into pieces.
- 2. Pour one bowl of rice and two bowls of water into the pot, and put the cut potatoes into the pot; The ratio of rice to water for braising rice is 1:2, and you can increase the ratio of rice and water according to your own needs.
- 3. Cover the pot and activate the rice stew function.
- 4. Ingredients for preparing rice dumplings: chopped scallions, diced green peppers, shredded cucumbers, and chopped cilantro.
- 5. Find a clean bowl, add three eggs and beat them up.
- 6. After the oil in the pot is heated, add the egg mixture and stir fry until it solidifies. Add minced meat and stir fry evenly; (For this step, we used our Jiesaimu tobacco frying pan. For those who don't have it, please use a regular frying pan.).
- 7. Then add soybean paste and sesame paste, stir fry evenly, add 15-20 milliliters of water, and add chopped chili peppers. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
- 8. Take out the steamed rice and potatoes, press the potatoes into a paste and mix well with the rice.
- 9. Add the stir fried egg sauce, along with chopped scallions, cilantro, shredded cucumber, fried peanuts, and other ingredients, and stir well.
- 10. Simply wrap the mixed rice with cabbage or lettuce and it's ready to eat.
