Steps to make Matcha bunny cookies

  • 1. Isn't the cute little rabbit very cute? His method is also very simple. Let's follow the steps below!
  • 2. Prepare the ingredients according to the formula and weigh them for later use. Butter softens at room temperature.
  • 3. Place softened butter in a large bowl and use a manual mixer to beat until it turns white and smooth.
  • 4. Gradually add granulated sugar to butter in 3 portions, stir until well mixed each time, and then add the next time.
  • 5. Add the raw egg yolk and stir evenly.
  • 6. Sift the low gluten flour into a whipped butter bowl and stir evenly with a scraper.
  • 7. Mix into dough and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • 8. Divide the refrigerated dough into two portions.
  • 9. Mix one portion evenly with matcha powder.
  • 10. Divide the original color dough into one large, two small, and three portions. Rub the large portion into a trapezoidal long strip with a narrow upper part and a wide lower part, and gather the small portion into a flat long strip. Da Fen is the face of a rabbit, Xiao Fen is the ears.
  • 11. Place the matcha dough on oiled paper, wrap it in oiled paper and roll it into large dough pieces. Cut them into squares that are the same length as the original colored dough.
