Goughof bread is a common holiday delicacy in Europe during Christmas. Although Gu Gu Huo Fu is a type of bread, it contains a large amount of butter, giving it a cake like texture. Steps to make Gugu Huo Fu Bread

  • 1. Shell the eggs, cut the butter into small pieces, put all the ingredients except for nuts into the bread bucket, and start the dough making process (28 minutes for kneading and 20 minutes for fermentation).
  • When making bread and noodles, pick out the large almonds from the nuts and place them at the bottom of the mold.
  • 3. Mix dough for 23 minutes, cut a small piece of dough and pull out the film, then put it back into the dough.
  • 4. Manually sprinkle the nuts into the bread machine.
  • 5. Continue kneading the bread machine for 3 minutes, evenly knead the nuts into the dough, and let it ferment for 20 minutes.
  • 6. Take out the dough and gently press to release air. Round the lid and let the plastic wrap relax for 15 minutes.
  • Create a hole 2-3 centimeters in size in the dough.
  • 8. Place the dough with the smooth side facing down and the mouth facing up into the Gugu Hof mold.
  • 9. Place the mold in the oven and ferment at 37 degrees for 40 minutes. Today, it's raining and the humidity in the air is 85%. Without adding warm water, the humidity will increase.
  • 10. Roll the dough to twice its size and remove it. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius for 10 minutes.
  • 11. Place the dough in the bottom of the oven and bake at 175 degrees Celsius for 30 minutes.
  • After the bread is baked, shake the mold twice. After demolding the bread, invert it and sprinkle an appropriate amount of powdered sugar.
