Zhongshui Dumplings is one of the famous traditional Han Chinese snacks in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. Steps to make Zhong dumplings

  • 1. Prepare ingredients: minced pork, dumpling wrappers (I bought them, if you don't mind the trouble, you can make them yourself)
  • 2. Ginger powder and scallions
  • 3. Add ginger, 2g of salt, white pepper, soy sauce, chicken essence, corn oil (if the meat is too fat, it can be omitted), and corn starch to the minced meat
  • 4. Stir in one direction and add water (about 40g) in multiple portions, stirring vigorously
  • 5. Before packaging, add chopped scallions and mix well

  • 7. Start making dumplings, take a piece of dumpling skin, put in the filling, and apply some water to the edge of the dumpling skin to increase stickiness
  • 8. Fold the dumplings in half and pinch the middle tightly first
  • 9. Pinch both sides tightly without revealing the filling
  • 10. Pack everything one by one and wait for the pot to be cooked
  • 11. Pour half a pot of water into the pot, and when the water boils, add 2g of salt
  • 12. Add dumplings (don't put too many at once), bring to a boil and add some cold water before cooking. Repeat this process three times
  • 13. After removing it, add the seasoning from step 6 according to your own taste, or you can dip it in and eat!
