Steps to make Braised Chicken with Chestnuts
- Chestnuts were previously frozen and peeled in the refrigerator. Make a cut on the chestnuts, boil for 5 minutes and let them simmer for another 10 minutes, and the shells will easily peel off.
- 2. Cut scallions into long sections, ginger into slices, and garlic into large chunks.
- 3. Chop the chicken legs into pieces and rinse off the blood.
- 4. Boil the chicken with water, add seasoning wine, and boil the scallions and ginger for a while to remove the fishy smell.
- 5. Take it out and rinse off the floating powder.
- 6. Pour oil into the pot and add scallions, ginger, and garlic until fragrant.
- 7. Add chicken and stir fry.
- 8. Add cooking wine, light soy sauce, and dark soy sauce, continue to stir fry.
- 9. Pour in chestnuts and add water, just enough to cover the chicken.
