Steps to make Homemade canned hawthorn
- 1. Wash the hawthorn repeatedly. The purchased hawthorn is average, not too large, and the color is not too red.
- 2. Remove both ends and rinse thoroughly.
- 3. Add an appropriate amount of pure water and bring to a boil. Put the hawthorn in a pot and cook for 5 minutes, then pour out.
- 4. Pour the original juice of boiled hawthorn into the pot, add white sugar and rock sugar, and bring to a boil.
- 5. Cook until the sugar water is slightly viscous.
- 6. Pour in the cooked hawthorn again and cook for another 3 minutes.
- 7. When cooked to this state, stop the heat and over time, it will break down.
- 8. After washing, the bottle is boiled with hot water to dry. After cooling the hawthorn fruit, put it into the bottle and pour in sugar juice.
- After being placed overnight, it can be eaten the next day.
- 10. Homemade canned hawthorn is free of any additives, clean and hygienic, with a sweet and sour taste, and a soft, sticky and sweet aroma (refrigerated, should be consumed as soon as there are no additives).
