Loong Boat Festival Zongzi is inseparable. My children love salty Zongzi very much. It just happens that there is a bag of beef sausage at home, with salted egg yolk, to make Zongzi for them.

Steps to make Beef sausage egg yolk zongzi
- 1. Bake salted egg yolk with Baijiu for five minutes to eliminate fishiness.
- 2. Cut beef sausages into sections.
- 3. Soak glutinous rice in water for about four hours in advance.
- 4. Remove the rice and drain the water.
- 5. Add oyster sauce, braised soy sauce, and flaxseed oil and mix well.
- 6. Roll the zongzi leaves into a conical tube and place rice at the bottom.
- 7. Put salted egg yolks and grilled sausages in the middle.
- 8. Cover it with rice. Add a few soaked peanuts.
- 9. Wrap it into a square shaped zongzi.
- 10. Add cold water to cover the Zongzi after wrapping them all.
- 11. Bring to a boil over high heat and then simmer over low heat for about 3 hours.
- 12. The cooked Zongzi is delicious with beef, sausage and salted egg yolk.
